People have defined Vision as the mental picture of a desired future. As much as that makes sense it is important to note that vision is much more than that. In this article, I would want to discuss vision from the perspective of two (2) laws: THE LAW OF THE LOOP-HOLETM and THE LAW OF DOUBLE CREATIONTM. Understanding both laws would help you grasp fundamental thoughts where the concept of vision is concerned. It is a known fact that life is governed by laws. Laws are vital to human existence because they make life predictable, guarantee that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed and be all that God has created man to be. Now let’s consider these laws:
THE LAW OF THE LOOP-HOLETM
“…States that the relevance of tomorrow people and things is hidden as a LOOPHOLE in the BEST and EXCELLENCE of today’s people and things.”—Olakunle Soriyan.
In other words, ALL of LIFE exists ONLY in:
1. A state of existence
2. A phase of development
3. A season of usefulness
To further buttress this point, let’s consider the phenomenon of what is today called Dark Energy and Dark Matter. Studies have shown that more is unknown than is known. We know how much dark (unknown) energy there is because we know how it affects the Universe's expansion. Other than that, it is a complete scientific mystery. But it is an important mystery. It turns out that roughly 70% of the Universe is dark (unknown) energy. Dark (unknown) matter makes up about 25%. The rest --- everything on Earth, everything ever observed with all of our instruments, are all normal matter – what I call known matter---it adds up to less than 5% of the Universe. Come to think of it, maybe it shouldn't be called "normal" matter at all, since it is such a small fraction of the Universe. One explanation for dark (unknown) energy is that it is a property of space. Albert Einstein was the first person to realize that empty space is not nothing. Space has amazing properties, many of which are just beginning to be understood. So…you HAVE TO HOLD THE LAW OF THE LOOPHOLE™ IN YOUR HEAD…always. Nothing is its best state yet. The best of us, circumstances, things and life in general is never in the past. Hence, we can choose to see the vast possibilities that are hidden in the present state of life. For example, computers were not always the way they are now. The first computer was as massive as a room but with continuous development and innovation, we now have laptops, palm tops and even a pen version of the computer. If the inventors of these other formats of the computer never unconsciously believed in the LAW OF THE LOOPHOLETM, they would never have been able to bring such cutting edge solutions to bear. When you sustain the consciousness of THE LAW OF THE LOOPHOLE™ in your mind ALWAYS, you are sustaining the mindset of a visionary.
THE LAW OF DOUBLE CREATIONTM
While the LAW OF THE LOOPHOLETM helps you define, develop and sustain the mindset of a visionary, THE LAW OF DOUBLE CREATIONTM shows us how great visions are birthed on the face of the earth. The law states that “everything is created twice: first in the mind and then in the physical”-Joshua Ademuwagun.
On October 1, 1971, the day Walt Disney World Resort was to be officially opened southwest of Orlando, Florida in the community of Lake Buena Vista. The Mayor was specially invited to give a speech amidst the mixed feelings pervading the ceremony. Primarily because Mr. Walt Disney had died on December 15, 1966, before his vision was realized. In his speech, the Mayor expressed his grief that Mr. Walt was not privileged to SEE the resort he had talked about so much. In response to the Mayors speech, Mrs. Disney disagreed with the thought that Mr. Walt Disney did not SEE the resort centre. She expressed the revolutionary thought that Walt Disney actually saw the resort centre first before anybody ever did. He saw the place first in his mind while she and the other visitors were seeing the place for the first time in the physical. Embedded in that story is THE LAW OF DOUBLE CREATIONTM. Before anything exists in the physical realm it MUST first exist in the unseen realm of thought. We must understand that the world is controlled by the contents of the minds of mortals. God and even the devil would not do anything on the face of the earth without first placing a thought in the mind of a man. The reason for this is simple, God has given man the sacred responsibility of having dominion over the earth (Genesis 1: 26-28) and only man has legal authority to operate on the face of the earth. Man is a spirit which has a soul and lives in a body that makes him a legal occupant of the earth. The invisible thoughts that redefine the status quo in the society are accessed in the place of prayers (Communicating with God, especially praying in other tongues: Jeremiah 33:3), Meditation (imagination and pondering: Isaiah 30:15), Observation and exposure.
NOW here is the gist: The mindset of a visionary sees what has not been that could be. He understands that all that is is not all that could be, so he takes the initiative to envision a new phase of existence that would guarantee a better society for humanity and ultimately glorify God-
the creator of both the seen and the unseen. That is Visioneering. It is seeing the mind of God where man is concerned and intentionally taking steps to execute what you see in your minds eyes. Remember, King Solomon said “a wise mans eyes are in his head” (Ecclesiastes 2:14) and the Apostle Paul shows us in Ephesians 1: 18 (“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,…”) that the result of having our mind eyes being flooded with Gods light (thoughts) is what redefines the social, political, entertainment, economic and commercial landscape on the face of the earth. Vision must be bigger than you; it must seek to be of a GLOBAL, GENERATIONAL and GENERAL consequence. You can start on a small note but should have the intention of influencing the world positively one person at a time. We should never underestimate the power of one vision. One man’s vision can create a ripple and lasting effect on the face of the earth. If you doubt that statement ask Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Ghandi, Alexander the Great, Bill Gates and even Adolf Hitler. Or you can ask the most successful vision of all: ask Jesus...
